We resume on January 18, with Robyn (yeah!), for three weeks...
For over 40 years, the Guelph Sculpture Group (formerly the Gage Sculpture Group) has provided an opportunity for its members to experiment with sculpting in clay. Raw novices and experienced or expert sculptors come together to create, to interact, and to discover new possiblities. Recently, becoming part of the Guelph Pottery Group, we moved from the Delhi Rec Centre to our new home in the south-west of Guelph, with better faciliites.
We meet Wednesday mornings from 9:15 to 12:30 at 50 Municipal St in Guelph. (Contact us for the weeks when we are running.) Suitable clay can be purchased on site, and your works in progress can be stored on site. We usually limit weekly participation to 10 or so, limited by the space available. (10 is comfortable, and gives us more than enough stands to work on.)
PLEASE NOTE that classes are for adults or with permission of the executive, and that visitors just wanting to chat are welcome before 9:30 am or after 12:30 pm, when we are setting up or cleaning up. (Giving us a hand then will make you extra welcome of course IF you have the time for that - grin. With all participants helping, though, both set-up and clean-up go quickly.)
Contact us for more information.

Visit our gallery of sculptures, still very much a very small sample of the considerable work created at our sessions or by our artists working at other times.
